Terms and Conditions of Membership
All members must:
Abide by the Cirencester u3a Member Code of Conduct
Always act in the best interests of the u3a and never do anything to bring the u3a into disrepute.
Abide by the terms and conditions of the constitution.
Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy at all times.
Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee.
Advise the Cirencester u3a Committee (Membership Secretary) of any change in your personal details. As a member this can also be done directly through the Member Portal.
Privacy Statement
Cirencester u3a processes member information so that we can keep you informed about events, groups and activities as part of your membership. Cirencester u3a’s lawful basis for collecting this information is both legitimate interest and contract. In processing your information Cirencester u3a will:
Store it securely
Use it to communicate with you as a u3a member.
Share your information with group leaders/convenors for those groups that you are a member of.
Send you general information about the Third Age Trust (The Third Age Trustis the national office to which all u3as are affiliated).

Photographs
Group activity may involve the taking of photographs, which may occasionally be published in Newsletters, in u3a publications or on this website. Members are asked that if they do not wish to be included in group photographs, they make it known to the photographer or step out of shot.
Communication
As a member you will receive information from the Committee about your membership and from Group Leaders relating to the groups you join, typically by email. Information about events and activities will be distributed by regular Newsletters and News Sheets, where possible by email. You will also receive directly by post from the Third Age Trust their magazine - "Third Age Matters".
You can opt out of any or all of these, which can be done directly via the Member Portal if you are a member or by contacting the Membership Secretary
